You have found Shepherds Lounge, refined cozy simplicity of an Ellijay cabin set in the secluded beauty of nature, located 15 minutes from Downtown Ellijay inside the beautiful neighborhood of Coosawattee River Resort.
Enjoy a 13 minute nature ride surrounded by ducks, deer and other wildlife as you make your way to the cabin and relish in the sounds of nature as you drive up a gravel road to the front door. A large, fully fenced backyard filled with wood chips, cypress mulch and toys is waiting for you and your dog!
You will find all of the comforts of home and more with a fully-equipped and well stocked kitchen fit to unleash your inner chef. Enjoy counter height kitchen table seating, a living area with comfortable sofas, books and games, a gas fireplace and flat panel TV's in every room. YouTubeTV subscription is complimentary in the living room. Bring your streaming passwords for the bedrooms ROKU's and watch Netflix, Amazon Prime and more.
This cabin has your best friend in mind! Inside awaits 2 large crates with comfortable beds, toys, treats, bowls, beauty health and grooming products, a food storage container, first aid emergency kit, back up leashes, and so much more! Linens and blankets are provided to cover the furniture, towels to clean muddy paws. Elevated beds are waiting on the back patio for your puppers to enjoy the evening breeze on.
Spend some quality time on the covered deck and watch your fur baby(ies) play in the backyard bouncing around one of the jolly balls or play tug of war and grill some juicy burgers or steaks on the gas grill. While you sit around the fire pit, enjoy families of deer walking by to welcome you.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Forty-seven percent (47.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
About the Owner
We, Barbara (originally from Germany) and Andrea (originally from Austria) are best friends of 25 years and veterans of the service industry. We love to travel and I always take my dogs with me. The amount of items I had to pack just for the dogs was overwhelming. On top of that, sleeping arrangements in many locations are mediocre, leading to sleepless nights or sore backs. After hours on the road, you find empty cabinets, not even a speck of salt, an empty fridge, no shampoo in the bathroom, no laundry detergent, not even a bottle of water. We decided to do better, compiled a list of all the things we would like to find upon arrival and started our business. Shepherds Lounge is our first step into the hospitality business, but certainly not the last. We strive to improve and would love to hear your experiences and suggestions!Location
